LUNDHAL

RESIDENTIAL | RENOVATION

The Lundahl residence was originally built in the 1920’s and underwent at least one renovation in the 1970’s. However, when Milieu found it, it was in disarray and in need of a refresh. Understanding the importance in preserving history, the Milieu Design team kept many original elements including the fireplace, built-ins, cast iron bathtub, the living and dining room windows, and the living room floors. In addition to restoring and preserving those elements, Milieu updated the lighting, carpet, bathroom vanity and floor, and finished the basement creating a secondary family room, 2 bedrooms, and a bathroom. The kitchen and upstairs bedrooms were also updated and everything received a fresh coat of paint. Even with the transformation that was made, the home still retains its original charm and is now bright and inviting.
