FEDERAL BUILDING

COMMERCIAL | FULL RENOVATION | FURNISHINGS & DECOR

The remodel of 160 N. Federal Ave. was an especially memorable one. It has both a timeless and historic past as it was the Logan’s first post office and was built in 1911. It is now owned by Northern Title Company where Milieu Design was able to restore and renovate the space. The space is also connected to the Daughters of Utah Pioneers (DUP) Museum allowing guests to visit another large part of Logan’s history.

Key elements of the design focus on restoring the building’s original charm while updating it to match contemporary design standards. Original brickwork, facade lampposts, millwork, carpentry, wood floors, marble trim, and grand staircase were all restored and refreshed to maintain the integrity of the building. The marble bathroom stalls and sinks are also original. Furniture, artwork, and accessories were carefully researched and selected to create an atmosphere of elegance and refinement while also paying homage to the building's origins.
